What is the difference between an order and a booking?

An order is what the customer put in their cart. It can therefore contain several bookings, if they booked several services in a single purchase.

In the sidebar, open Orders to see your orders and bookings.

Each line starts with the order number, its creation date and the sales channel used, here an order placed from the dashboard.

Below the order you will see the bookings it contains, with the product, the reference, the number of participants, the activity date and the status.

The distinction matters for accounting: the order carries the payment, the booking carries the service to be delivered.
